About CREW East Tennessee

Advancing women. Strengthening an industry.

East Tennessee is home to a vibrant and growing commercial real estate community — and extraordinary women are helping lead it.

CREW East Tennessee was founded to amplify their leadership, expand their opportunities and strengthen the industry they help drive.

Serving professionals from the Tri-Cities to Chattanooga, CREW East Tennessee creates connections across the many disciplines that make commercial real estate possible. Our members include professionals at every stage of their careers who share a commitment to business development, leadership, mentorship and strengthening our communities.

Our goal is not simply to build another professional organization. It is to serve as a bridge and a unifying force, connecting people, professions and communities while honoring the full scope of commercial real estate across East Tennessee.

History

Our Story

CREW East Tennessee began with a simple realization. After moving to the region, Kerri Kor sought a more engaged commercial real estate community for women. Discovering Nashville and Memphis had chapters but East Tennessee did not, she launched the process of forming a local branch, connecting with leaders like Mary Ellen Kilburn, Christley Ford, and Steffanie Speck.

The timing was significant; connections aligned quickly. Mary Ellen had recently worked on a transaction involving Christley and Steffanie, with women represented throughout the deal. In that moment, the founding board took shape, finding that the network was already there, hidden in plain sight.

Later, they discovered even more layers of connection, including Tabatha Ogle, proving the network was already active. Women in East Tennessee commercial real estate were collaborating, referring business, and creating opportunities long before the formal chapter launch.

CREW East Tennessee was created to make those relationships intentional and connect them to a global network. That is how we began—not with one introduction, but with a series of meaningful connections that were already building something bigger.
